Birth Day
Sometimes I wish you could tell when I was lying, because I know I’ll never tell you the truth.
Confession
I often hide my facebook chat to avoid awkward conversations with people from my past. Anyone else do this?

High School Graduation
So this past Friday was graduation day in my town. It was pretty much like any other graduation, a long list of names being called out as students are rushed across a stage and handed a fake diploma.
Well, that’s sort of a lie. This year a kid who is a lot like another brother to me was valedictorian. Actually, that’s why I was there, mostly. Another brother-like-friend was...

Blogging
I have a private blog on blogpost that I started during Easter as just a way to keep up with my thoughts. Sometimes I have random urges to just write everything that I’m feeling and get out my frustrations or confusion…
Anywho, I was looking over some of my old posts and it’s crazy to see how much I’ve changed in the past 3-4 months. Just the problems that I had at that...

I cried the first time I read this...
“Everyone longs to give oneself completely to someone, to have a deep-soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and completely. But God says, ‘No, not until you are satisfied and content and fulfilled with being loved by me alone. I love you, My child. Until you discover that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, you will not be capable of the perfect human...

Family Dinner
While I’m doing my internship with the Sierra Club I’m living on campus, and so are all of my friends. Last night Emily made us a family dinner at the house she was house sitting. Below is a montage to that lovely night:

You get these really huge cups and choose from 8-10 different flavors of frozen yogurt. Then you can add in about 20 different types of mix-ins, including fresh fruit! Then they weigh your cup and pay, and it’s super cheap!

I Think I Have a Problem
I have a slight obsession with Alaska, and lately it’s been really eating away at my soul… I went as far as to see how much a round trip plane ticket would cost and a week long stay in a hotel… my obsession is really expensive.
These last two years of college are going to really suck, because all I can think about is living in Alaska afterwards. But, I really want to savor my...

Books
I was at the bookstore today, and I’m pretty sure I looked at every single book and found nothing to read. I’m really in the mood for fiction, any suggestions?

on living.
rockettothesun:
i want to live simply. with minimal possession. in the forest. or on the shore. under the stars.
i want to live and write songs and play them for someone who actually cares enough to ask to hear them. i want to write stories and draw things.
i want to wake up and have strong, black coffee.
i want life to be simple like it should be. man is not made to live in isolation,...
